The trees parted to give glimpses of the river below, now mostly in shadow of late afternoon.

About sherijkennedyriverside
Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. Reaching inward and venturing outward as the Snoqualmie River flows onward past my doorstep and life runs freely through my being, I set pen to page to share what I perceive.
Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountain foothills town of North Bend, Washington USA. Her heart has found its home.
I think there is a little space for a writer to sit down there and do some work.
Yes, I thought it an inspiring spot too.
Did you manage to get down there – or is it one of those magical spots where only climbing apparatus would get you.
It would be tough going, but I think it could be reached by following the river rather than the convenient and well maintained trail. You’re correct in surmising it was down a steep, even concave embankment at this point. Maybe sometime when it isn’t my 2nd hike of the day, I’ll try the river course here. It would be amazing all the way along!
I look forward to the photos!
It’ll probably be next Spring, but I’ll consider it a challenge! Will definitely post the photos! Thanks for giving me a push. It should be fun!
Just so lovely.
