Breathing Space – January 3/12

The blowing snow outside tonight is like the frozen snowberries, so delicate and beautiful, at the lake.

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. Reaching inward and venturing outward as the Snoqualmie River flows onward past my doorstep and life runs freely through my being, I set pen to page to share what I perceive. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountain foothills town of North Bend, Washington USA. Her heart has found its home.

  1. Fellow blogger because I really like your blog. I have nominated you for the One Lovely Blog Award. If you want to acknowledge this award and share it with your followers, click on the following link for the rules. You can take your time, as I did. Otherwise, just know I appreciate your blogs. http://rigzenchomo.com/2013/01/03/one-lovely-blog-award/

    • Thanks SO much! It seems I am terrible at properly accepting awards. I have the best of intentions but get sidetracked by things like more writing and photography and chatting with fellow bloggers. :) I am deeply grateful for the nomination and sincerely pleased that you enjoy and appreciate my blog. It’s my distinct pleasure to share my world with you!

  2. This is the first time I’m seeing this! Lovely. Didn’t even know these existed actually.

    • These grow wild in my area. The leaves mostly fall off in winter, but the white berries stand out in thickets of underbrush throughout wooded areas and in many people’s yards. I think they are especially pretty in frost or snow.
