My creation and contribution for this year’s THE SKETCHBOOK PROJECT is titled, ONLY HUMAN. And this year, I decided to actually sketch…go figure.
I’ll be posting pages over the next few weeks, so stay tuned. You can see all my previously posted sketchbook pages by searching my blog for ‘The Sketchbook Project’.

About sherijkennedyriverside
Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. Reaching inward and venturing outward as the Snoqualmie River flows onward past my doorstep and life runs freely through my being, I set pen to page to share what I perceive.
Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountain foothills town of North Bend, Washington USA. Her heart has found its home.
Your personal sketches add such a beautiful artistic flair to the book! I love to draw, too, since I grew up in an artistic family. My private journal is my favorite place to dress up with drawings! Now my 15 yr old son draws better than I do.
Blessings Sheri ~ Wendy
That’s so cool that your son enjoys drawing too. I don’t have children, but I have an honorary niece (my close friend’s daughter) and she and I draw together a lot. She’s getting pretty good at 12. It’s great to see talent develop, and I’ll bet you’re proud of him.
You are one very talented woman. Keep up your work, it’s inspiring, makes me want to get out my drawing pen – but oh need a longer day!:)
Thanks so much for the appreciation! And I’m so glad I inspired you to want to draw. Give it some time soon…you’ll be glad you did! I hadn’t drawn in a long time, and it feels sooo good!
