About sherijkennedyriverside
Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. Reaching inward and venturing outward as the Snoqualmie River flows onward past my doorstep and life runs freely through my being, I set pen to page to share what I perceive.
Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountain foothills town of North Bend, Washington USA. Her heart has found its home.
Breathtakingly lovely as always!
Thanks so much! I was so excited when I saw this light on the mountain that I could hardly wait to stop the car. It was unusually beautiful even for these lovely scenes that surround me each day.
It’s amazing! I live on the border of rural land, so it’s always lovely seeing your photos! There’s really nothing as breathtaking here, if I wanted to see something like that I’d have to go a little north or a little east, no, the northeast to the mountains, but it’s too far to drive for a day trip. I’d have been excited too if I saw that! It’s just stunning…love it, love it, love it.
Thanks again, and one of the things that’s fun about living in the mountains is you do get these brief glimpses of extraordinary beauty. The reason I was so excited is I knew I had to hurry like crazy or it would vanish into grey.
That certainly is a bonus! I would love to wake up to a scene like that every day, it would make my day.
