   Where I’m From

I am from red bright fuzzy carpet

Step after step the warmth is in my toes

The vibe of the cat’s claws

As knick knacks stare at you like a tiger catching its prey

I am from snow white walls

With perfumes swirming around me

Clothes scattered everywhere

I lay on my bedsheets, bright as a rainbow luminating in the sky

I am from grass waiting for it to be swayed

With rose petals covered on me

Approaching a screechy porch as if your walking through hollow snow, nobody to guide you

Spider webs soon to be linked around you

I am from street lights glimmering in the moonlight

Outside in the dark with vague memories

With no warmth

Just like fresh cool breeze sucking through your bones

I am from kimichi waiting to be eaten

As little to no air is there

All you can see around you is little markets, waiting for you to buy knick knacks to take home

A place for most of my family who live there devouring kimchi and kalbi

I am from an autumn treat that I eat everyday with  the taste of savory

Spice’s inside it, wanting more and more

It’s my everyday treat

Hot and Sour Soup is as delicious as creamy ice-cream sundae

I am from a bird singing in the far distance in the silent meadow

With a crisp sound as if a flute was playing

The beautiful sounds unite together

To have both  a connection as if a strawberry bannana smoothie blended together
