Giving Back – A Helicopter Ride’s Point of View.
Sometimes something happens that’s so amazing that words are lost. The recent gift of a helicopter ride that I received, definitely had me speechless, and when I found out that it was offered in appreciation of community service I have given over the last several years, I was overwhelmed with gratitude. I still don’t know what to say besides, “Thank You!”
I certainly don’t give to get something back. In fact, I view service as giving back, in joy, the energy that I’m so blessed to receive. It was humbling and very beautiful to receive a gift that fulfilled a lifetime dream. To fly in a helicopter–and on top of that, to get this unique and glorious view of my home.
