Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night.
Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.

Thanks SO much! It seems I am terrible at properly accepting awards. I have the best of intentions but get sidetracked by things like more writing and photography and chatting with fellow bloggers. 🙂 I am deeply grateful for the nomination and sincerely pleased that you enjoy and appreciate my blog. It’s my distinct pleasure to share my world with you!

This is the first time I’m seeing this! Lovely. Didn’t even know these existed actually.

These grow wild in my area. The leaves mostly fall off in winter, but the white berries stand out in thickets of underbrush throughout wooded areas and in many people’s yards. I think they are especially pretty in frost or snow.
