My creation and contribution for this year’s THE SKETCHBOOK PROJECT is titled, ONLY HUMAN. And this year, I decided to actually sketch…go figure. 🙂 I’ll be posting pages over the next few weeks, so stay tuned. About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.

    • Does the same for me every time I see it. 🙂 Thanks! It was just the kind of happy laugh I was looking for when I searched images for a model, so I decided to draw Pres. Obama…wasn’t what I was planning, but it just kept making me smile more than any of the other laughs did…his was happiest. 🙂

Very dear to my heart. He definitely needs the weight lifted, I love this sketch of him seemingly able to still find joy through all of the worry.

love the Obama, too funny. but the self portrait isn’t pretty or kind enough!! I see only disdain in that expression, and have NEVER seen that on your face!!!
