Only Human – Creativity

My creation and contribution for this year’s THE SKETCHBOOK PROJECT is titled, ONLY HUMAN. And this year, I decided to actually sketch…go figure. 🙂 I’ll be posting pages over the next few weeks, so stay tuned. You can see all my previously posted sketchbook pages by searching my blog for ‘The Sketchbook Project’.

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.

    • I wasn’t meaning to say that only humans create, though I can see how you could construe it that way. In the artists’ intent, I am looking for characteristics that are part of humanity’s essence, and from my observation, creativity is one of our root urges and has been manifest in marvelous ways throughout our history.
