The Best to You for a New Year!!

Kitty Whelan on my birthday 12-30-13Okay, so it’s not quite New Year’s Eve. But calendars are different the world over, and we each start our personal new year on the anniversary of our birth. Here’s a pic from the celebration tonight of all my years so far…I hope you’ll take this day and celebrate what has been and look forward with hope to what can be in the next year for you and those around you. Make it a great one! Enjoy what is and reach for what can be…Find the laughter, treasure the love, let go of the hurts, hold dear the friends that share your life with you. And when you feel alone, give someone a smile, and watch for a smile to come back to you…if not that day, then perhaps the next…Happy New Year!!

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.
