Sketchbook Project – Ripples, Reflections and Frosty Surface

Pages Twenty-seven and Twenty-eight:

SCAN0021In the last section of Northwest Winter Textures I decided the photos of textures I’d captured for inspiration just couldn’t be represented better than the images, so I decided to pair a photo and a page with words for each. To spice it up a bit and make it more truly a sketchbook I made a small sketch of one of the elements in the image that inspired me. On a couple pages I wasn’t taken by anything to sketch so just left it with words. I hope you enjoy the final series over the next days…

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.
