Breathing Space – April 2/14

This extremely tiny delicate flower had the power to draw my attention in a wide field of moss, grass and lichen. The soft purple, an oasis in a desert of green.

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.

    Just Lovely.

I like photos, this one is very sweet. There’s something special about such a delicate looking flower so many would overlook or trod on, pushing through and surviving.

Thank you for noticing and sharing, its made me feel nice 🙂

    • There was so much around me to see too. In fact, I took this while the eagles were perched nearby in the tree.
But I, like you, got a nice feeling from this tiny survivor and wanted to bring its beauty home to share.
