love_is_intelligent_energy-300x225 Lonely Lionel

Lionel Lincoln wasn’t lucky in love. He was a likable lad but a little lacking in luster. Lester Lowman lounged lazily in the lunchroom and lovely lasses lined up leering with lowered lashes. Their lilting laughter lingered, lapping at Lionel all through literature lessons.

Lionel’s learning was limited by listing his liabilities.  “I’m a lumbering lummox living with large lanky limbs and lousy lineage. A lunkhead lost in lapses of logic that leave ladies limp and lackadaisical.”

A lull in the lecture left Lionel looking at Lester’s lithe lines.  He loathed the linebacker’s likeness, longing to lasso life like Lester. He languished in listlessness.

Lillian Layman’s luscious lips lured Lionel. Her luxurious linens and lurid looks left him lustful for a lark. But Lonnie Lexicon loosed leaps of light-heartedness that lessened his lassitude.  She was a lively lamb and lifted his lurking libido to liberate him from loser-ville and lurch for a lofty lease on a life-long lover.

Like a lion, with no laconic limits, he lathered lengthy lyrics of longsuffering laments of loneliness on lavender leaves and lavished them on Lonnie.  Lord of linguistic largess, he littered the letters with limericks of literate lace and lilac linings that led Lonnie to lean off her level and lunge into lakes of love with Lionel.

Lionel was lonely no longer.
