Breathing Space – September 14/14 – North Bend Jazz Walk

Today’s Breathing Space is a montage of images and some tasty links to samples of the great music from the third annual North Bend Jazz Walk. We are fortunate to have Danny Kolke in our town who, along with his family and others have mentored and sponsored an amazing Jazz community here based at Boxley’s. The quality of the musicians at the 18 venues was astounding, and I only wish there was more than the 6 hours so I could have seen them all. My wanderings didn’t find a bad note, the businesses of North Bend made a varied and cool backdrop, and I savored the evening in the groove.

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.
