I love it when I stumble upon sticks like these that have fallen from the high branches and are all covered with interesting life forms. It’s like a tiny world has fallen at my feet from Way Up There.
I’m also feeling that way about my Nanowrimo novel this year. It’s such fun to write time travel adventure, and I’m really pleased with the way the worlds within it have taken shape. Writing, for me, is much like studying this little stick full of things and discovering something new in every little nook and cranny – as the story flows from my fingers and the depths of my creative mind.
I’m going to put up my NaNoWriMo Word Count Chart each day after with my progress. Please find me as a buddy on the site if you are also a Wrimo. I’m Quinnleeeee. If you are ‘homeless’ please feel free to Home with Snoqualmie Valley Region from near or far, and we will cheer you on!
A great selection of lichens Sheri! I am pleased you are happy with your writing.

The manuscript will need a lot of work, but at least I did find the elements of the story this month, so revision will be possible without trying to fill out the plot arc.
I really do enjoy the lichen collections that I find along the trail when I walk by the river. They are so varied and plentiful here. It was nice to get outside a couple times after so much writing!

Glad the writing is going well, and I too always get excited by those bits from above. The intricate worlds, the soft colors…
