Jan 6/16 is Hot Spot

DSC_1046Today was spent in great anticipation of getting back to serious writing and serious talking about and socializing around writing with my writer’s group at Wednesday Writer’s Cafe’. We meet at a local restaurant that has good food, friendly staff and fast Wi-Fi.

I’m fortunate to have a large and supportive writer’s group in my small town – actually two towns that form Snoqualmie Valley. Over the holidays I missed moving forward on my manuscript and spending time with other writers.

We’re back!!! Time to finish the story I wrote during NaNoWriMo and get down to editing it and the manuscript for the first book. I decided it will work best to edit the first and second book in my steam era time travel adventure at the same time so I can make sure they foreshadow and fulfill each other well.

What are you happily returning to now that the holiday hubbub is over?

I’m renaming each day this year – replacing the humdrum Monday-Friday in hope of remembering that each day is unique and should be enjoyed to its fullest. Today is: Hot Spot

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.
