Jan 8/16 Through the Trees

DSCN5492It was hard to see the beauty for the trees…What a week! It feels like New Year’s Eve was about three weeks ago. I think this may have been one of the busiest weeks at work ever. TGIF!

But busy got me moving, and I’m looking forward to what comes next. I’ve been capturing the moments as I can get them, and the view through the trees looks just fine.

I hope you’re seeing good things ahead!

I’m naming each day this year with a unique name as a reminder to savor each and every one. Today is: Through the Trees

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.

  1. When waiting tables we learned this phrase, in the reeds, which means a server is so swamped they can only see the next thing to do, they can;t plan ahead at all. Feeling a bit in the reeds myself which I can only imagine is like through the trees.
