I arrived at work this morning to find this little guy struggling to try to fly out the window. I’m so glad he wasn’t caught in the blinds! I heard some activity in the chimney on Friday and worried this might happen. Now that I’m not hearing anything, I’ve risked changing the position of the flue. Hopefully I didn’t cut off a nest. He was reasonably strong, just tired, and flew away very well as soon as I set him free outside. Sweet little swallow…I hope he’s alright.

Good for you! You did what you could. It’s a wonderful feeling, holding a little bird.

lol…I’ve always liked birds. I used to have a budgie for many years. We got along famously, and birds do seem to like me too. 🙂
