Gold and Blue

The blue of the sky was spectacular when showing through the dramatic gold clouds near sunset. I took this from my car while waiting for the red light to change on my way home from work one evening. I love Fall skies.

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.

    • Yes, wasn’t it? I love this time of year when we get heavy moisture and then it warms and chills so we get amazing mists and clouds around the mountain. When the combo of weather is just right to give sunshine to the west in the late afternoon, we get incredible sights like this one. I wish I could also post the amazingly fresh, newly washed air with it. I take one look and remember the refreshing crisp feeling as well as the visual beauty. I’m glad you got to see it here and share the moment of beauty, Clare.
