A Cup of Coffee and a Book

A Cup of Coffe and a BookI picked up this challenge from a post at Words Visual .  She was actually responding to an Isolation challenge, but I thought it would be fun to continue it as a #CupofCoffeeandaBook challenge. I chose my ‘Things Could be Worse’ Polish porcelain mug and Feeling Human book in honor of the Isolation challenge.
Show us your cup of coffee and a book! You can leave a link to your post in comments below.

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.

Hi! I’ve taken a picture, but I don’t know how to share it! I have a cup of tea, and my paperwhite, which right now happens to be open on one of my books, ‘The Kiss of the Blue Howler’. Just felt like I was living in a cave, so needed my tale of a grand, undercavern world!

    • hehe, Nice! Yes, I send photos of my phone to Dropbox and then post them. There is a WordPress app that you can use and choose photos from your phone. Or you can always share the photo and post on FB instead since you can just use the share icon in you phone’s photo system and then pick Facebook to share it with. Then add #cupofcoffeeandabook to the post. 🙂 Thanks for enjoying the challenge! Fun to hear what you’re reading and why. I’ve been skipping around in my reading. I think Feeling Human is a good one because it’s like getting to hang out with all different people very closely and vicariously traveling with them too.
