That’s the end of our day at the beach… Breathe in the blue. It’s time to go.

Beautiful soft colors, Sheri. Great beach picture.

These moments were my favorite of the day. I had wandered far down the beach on my own, following the flocks of shorebirds wandering in and out with the pattern of the waves – as I did. I stopped at the closest distance I knew would not startle them into flight, and they came toward me. I caught some photos of then facing me, and then caught the patterns as they wandered away. It was a very Zen moment, and I’m glad the softness and peace of it came through to you. 🙂

I was up in Poulsbo for a couple days visiting my brother before the poor fellow moves to Hawaii. We spent a lot of time wandering on the beach. There’s something special about the ocean. It’s in our DNA, I think. ❤

Perhaps it is in our DNA, as you say. I definitely feel the need to go there every so often, and there’s nothing that gives me peace and inspiration in quite the same way.
