I love seeing the sunset over water, and so I’ll share with you also our second night’s sunset as viewed from the deck of the Lakeview Lodge in Harrison, ID.
The drier climate east of the mountains is full of spikes and rough textures… …so in contrast to the damp, lush, leafy, fluffy world I’m used to in the valley I call home.
The vivid green of the algae beneath the water made the shadows and reflections vibrant with color.
This scene on Kilarney Lake sums up the feeling of my getaway to northern Idaho this weekend. Yesterday’s bike ride and drive was especially full of beauty and tranquility.
