One of the good things about the recent rains is the abundance of ducks that are taking advantage of the full waterways. Along the trail west of town today I spotted this pair of hooded mergansers and had fun catching them as they left with the others on the pond…ducks in a row.
I’m naming each day this year to remember that each is unique. Today is: Just Ducky

Love it! Last year a duck decided our swimming pool was his personal oasis – it was really cute. But it got even cuter when one day he brought a female duck with him to swim around. They sat in the sun lounging on the deck. Very sweet.
