My Garden is Blooming Fair- Columbines

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.

    • As you can probably tell, these are basically wildflowers that I contain with rockeries and encourage to seed in the same spots. It has grown to produce a lot of blossoms over several years. In the cities you get to visit many gardens with finer flowers or see gorgeous bouquets at the markets. That’s beautiful too.

I know you’re busy with your writing and don’t post here often, and I’m getting here very late to the party! But what a party it is, with those columbines – they are just gorgeous (or were anyway). Your photos are full of pure joy. I hope you’re having a great summer! i

    • Thanks! I’ve been taking some photos here and there since, but I never seem to get them posted. It’s the time of year when I often get caught up in the moment and seem to do less outward sharing online. I still get notifications from blogs…So here I am! 🙂

    • Glad you enjoyed the garden…You’re so right. I’m not sure why I’ve taken a hiatus. It was not intentional. I’ve taken way less photos lately, and even when I have, they seem not to get posted. I’ve been thinking about it often, and I’ll probably be back posting again soon. I’m doing a lot of writing and also have been more focused on home life this summer. But I enjoy taking photos and sharing them with you all. It’s just a break, I think. Thanks for giving me a nudge.

Yes, I go through breaks at times. My last one was for at least four months last winter. So busy with home life during that time. But we always come back to it don’t we? If not there are other creative things. Whatever keeps the spirit moving. 🙂
