Jan 16/16 is Eye-opening

DSC_1056Today was eye-opening is a couple ways. My new glasses arrived, and I can finally see straight again…Yay!!!!

Also, an author friend of mine is leading a class, with me in close support, to help local authors bring their written manuscripts, many from Nanowrimo, from rough draft to published this year. Ten of us arrived to her class at the library this morning, and I was excited to see the bright-eyed optimism and passion of the group for the somewhat daunting task ahead. I’m already reworking my own manuscript with renewed vigor. I’m sure I’ll be posting about it throughout the year.

What put a spark in your eye lately?

I’m giving each day this year a unique name in hope of remembering that each one is special. Today is: Eye-opening

About sherijkennedyriverside

Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.
