Part of what I love about WA coast is how much coastline you can see in some places. Looking out to sea, I feel swept with the peace of solitude and inspired by the wild waves. The feeling of wide expanse carries on when I gaze up and down the beach. No matter how crowded, I feel free to roam and roam to my heart’s content.
I felt much like the dog in this video captures in his loping gait along the sand and frolicking wade in the water. CLICK HERE TO SEE THIS PHOTO COME ALIVE

Beautiful view and amazing light. I really like the picture that shimmers so beautifully.

Yes, I noticed when I cropped it even tighter that the waves were shimmering brightly, but the photo’s light is softened by mist since I took to shot from fairly far away and zoomed in. I’m glad you liked the effect. 🙂 It is very true to how it looked to my eye in reality.

Nice! I’m happy for you! We are still debating about overnights. I want to get out to the peninsula. We’ll see. (I loved that shimmer, too).

We decided not to stay a night so it was a long drive, but pleasant, and a perfect day – shimmer and all! 🙂

Maybe the long drive is the only way to go for now – thanks, Sheri, and take care!

Thanks for stopping by and for the comments! I’ve been swamped and saving up your post links again instead of visiting, but I’ll be back to see you and your wonderful posts again soon. 🙂

No worries – I know how it is! They’ll be there whenever it’s convenient and I don’t mind “late” comments – you know I’ve done that often enough! 😉 It’s good to know that you got out to the coast, and to see the happy dog running free…
